Carmen Luk is amazing. My wife and I procrastinated so long that we ended up 1 1/2 month before our wedding reception without anything done yet. Carmen kicked into high gear and made the impossible happen. On the day of she was on top of everything so that we didn't have to worry. We are grateful for her help and definitely recommend her.

Hiring Carmen was one of the best decisions we made when it came to planning for our wedding. She is exceptionally dedicated, organized, and thorough, with great attention to detail. She is an excellent communicator and worked well with sometimes challenging vendors. Even my demanding parents thought she was amazing!! Most importantly, Carmen was able to understand our vision for the wedding (even if we could never truly articulate it!) and, with her team, was able to help us have a perfect wedding day. We could not have had a better planner and friend. We would highly recommend Carmen without hesitation.

Devoted to You offers a very personal and one of a kind service! There was only 1 month away till the wedding day and we still had some major tasks that weren’t settle! Right after our initial meeting with Carmen, we knew right away that we approached the right person to board with us. From planning the wedding day logistic to negotiating with the remaining vendors, Carmen was more like our kind and friendly older sister who guided us through the jungle of worries and anxiety. At the end of the day, it’s not just about the quantity of tasks that was done but the quality and happiness found in us and our guests. Carmen offers a truly amazing service where its work shine more than any 5 stars reviews!

We first chose Carmen as our wedding planner mainly because of her bilingual (Chinese and English) as my mom doesn't speak very good English. Her professionalism and attention to details pleasantly surprised us throughout our wedding planning process. Carmen recommended us lots of great vendors (from florist, photographer to dance instructor) within our budget. We had over 120 guests in our wedding at the Carlu. The entire event was organized perfectly down to the details. Many guests told me (later) that they thought the event was very well organized. We cannot ask for a better wedding!

Carmen is amazing! She is exceptionally organized, professional, detail oriented, responsive, and is always going above and beyond to deliver. We hired Carmen for organizing our destination wedding in Cancun. From our initial consultation, we were already impressed by her understanding of our vision and her ability to recall all the details of the meeting. Throughout a year of planning, Carmen organized numerous touchpoints and is always eager to share her new ideas. She also managed a very detailed expense spreadsheet to keep us up to date on our wedding budget. On the days leading up to the wedding, Carmen took a lot off our plates by dealing with a few troublesome vendors to let us focus on final preparations. On top of planning for the wedding day itself, Carmen also helped us plan an excursion for our guests and a separate photoshoot day. On the day of the wedding, Carmen was instrumental in making the day go perfectly. While we were busy doing photoshoots, Carmen was behind the scenes coordinating with our resort planner and vendors to ensure the decorations, reception, and entertainment go as planned. My husband and I would wholeheartedly recommend Carmen and Devoted to You.
