We had our wedding in this venue and are highly satisfied with everything. The venue is beautiful, with plenty of ornate decorations indoors, nicely partitioned veranda (perfect for setting up food, photo booth, entertainment, etc), and two floors to accommodate more elaborate programs. The immediate outside has beautiful arches for seating and photographs. The staff are friendly and easily reachable. To make things more appealing, this was one of the most affordable venues we looked at. Our guests had a great time and were able to come early and explore Belle Isle attractions which was a treat (especially for those from out-of-state). Highly recommend it!

Great place for a family our community gathering. Super historic. Beautiful views of the turquoise colored Detroit River. Just Google Belle Isle history and you'll get it.

I've been calling this place the last 2 months so I can book a wedding my fiance and I'm have both called and left several messages and email address no response. The lady that answers the phone only has general information this is very inconvient for people like myself who live out of state

A beautiful architectural work. Too bad this site lacks the kind of custodianship—not the workers, but the ownership—that it deserves. In better hands, this would be an active, vibrant venue and not the site of an occasional nostalgic diversion.

A lot of work is going into the Belle Isle Casino to fix it up to where it can be used for banquets but for the next month or so it'll be used as headquarters for quite a few of the Detroit Grand Prix offices. I was pleasantly surprised to see how clean, updated and well taken care of the casino was. It'll be a lot of fun working here as we enjoy the race from all the windows.
