I had my wedding at Ruby in August of this year. It was a beautiful place with lovely grounds but I had major issues with how they handle their business, which directly affected me. In the beginning I told the event coordinator that I would have roughly 150 guests and that I was looking to seat most of my guests outside on the patio. She informed me that if I wanted guests outside I would need to rent tables and chairs (from a place she recommended) due to the fact that they do not allow their tables and chairs to be taken outside. I told her we would have 80 plus guests outside and 70 inside (this amount changed over time). She agreed to this and I went on with my wedding planning. A couple of days after my wedding she TEXT me and told me that I ripped her off because she only allows rentals to be brought in if the guest list exceeds 210 people. Then she sent me photos of random things that needed repairs and extra clean up, told me she would be deducting $75 from my deposit for repairs and clean up and $100 from my deposit because I didn't use her rentals. She also said she was doing me a service by only keeping $175 because she could have kept the whole deposit because of the rentals brought in and charge me $75 for the clean up and repairs. This was very distasteful and I had emails proving that she agreed to all of my statements. I would not recommend doing business with them. They look for things to charge you for and ways to rip you off. Hopefully this helps you in your hunt for a wedding venue!
