This was an excellent experience and an excellent place! We were at the Gem Theatre for a Taste Test. If you ever need a service/venue to serve for a large crowd, this is one of the places to try the food and experience it. My husband is also a musician and he played here once - there is a beautiful “theatre” in the room next door to the dining area. I should have taken a picture of that room. I took photos of the beautiful courtyard, but I forgot to get the permission of my family to post the photos with my review for that too. Trust me, the courtyard was beautiful! They took care of every detail outside! Inside was beautiful too. The staff was pleasant, professional and very friendly (I assure you , they already had our business, so that wasn’t why). The Taste Test started with appetizers and ended with dessert. Attached to this review are the photos of our food. I would not co sided this a “Taste Test”, but a “wonderful dinner”! Sidebar: The last two photos are for the Ladies.... The bathrooms are downstairs. The first photo is of the hallway (LOVE THE GOLDEN TOUCHES!!) the bathroom is beautiful and large. It is VERY clean.

I attended a wedding here in April and it was absolutely superb! Such a well preserved site. Absolutely beautiful. I would have loved to learn more about the property given the opportunity

Love this historic building. We attended a fundraiser here and had a great time.

A great venue in a former Lady's Club. Beautifully restored and would make a perfect setting for a wedding and reception.

This is a beautiful old theatre. The ceilings are gorgeous and everything is high quality construction and craftsmanship. It is a nice small venue, though some of the passageways are narrow and there are spots where the floor is not even close to level. There is an elevator to the balcony seating if you have mobility issues, though I'm not sure about an accessible entrance. There is a bar that serves alcohol and snacks are also available.
