and I would like to HIGHLY RECOMMEND Elope Up North if you are looking for a wedding venue or a place to renew your vows. Jim and Margaret were absolutely fantastic and they had some unexpected surprises during our ceremony - things neither of us have ever seen in a wedding ceremony. (Of course we can't tell you, it was a surprise)! They were both very easy to work with and made this stress free! They had several places on the property that you could choose where you wanted to get married - you find the one that speaks to you as a couple. Absolutely beautiful (and affordable!) - again, we highly recommend them!

Jim and Margaret worked with us on our wedding last Thursday, and it was amazing! They were very accommodating, kept in communication with us and extremely friendly. We felt like we have known them for years! The wedding felt very personal; they were really able to capture "us" and did a beautiful ceremony. And talk about gorgeous; there were several sites to choose from, and all of them were breathtaking. All of our guests are still raving about the ceremony! The prices were very affordable too. We definitely recommend anyone looking to elope in Michigan to this place!

Photos By Lindsay Adkins Photography Jim and his wife were amazing during our August 12th, 2017 elopement. The ceremony was quick and quirky, with a lot of laughs and love. I couldn't have asked for a better ceremony. They let us choose from many different spots (gazebo, pier, arbor, woods..) and the pier fit our vision perfectly. They let us stay to take pictures anywhere on the grounds that we wanted and our photographer was able to get so many amazing shots. I highly recommend this location for any other couple that is looking to elope.
