Throughout the entire wedding process Katie was exceptional. She was professional, prepared and seemed like she could handle anything! She came with us for a visit to the venue beforehand where she had a ton of questions we never would have thought of. Her coordination of all the vendors and preparation of the day of schedule were flawless. She even handled a few last min curve balls from one of our vendors. Most importantly she made us feel calm and ready for the big day throughout the entire process! I don't know what we would have done without Katie and can't speak high enough of her services! 10/10

My husband and I had the opportunity to work with Katie for our wedding. We had our first chat with Katie about 6months before our wedding and was very grateful we hired her and her team. Every conversation (through phone, email or text messaging) was always so encouraging and supportive. And Katie always provided us with great advice and options. From insurance coverage, to size of prints we should get to executing the day of wedding flawlessly. I can't imagine how stressful my bridal party and I would be if she wasn't there. Honestly the piece of mind she provided me was the best part of it all. Thanks Katie and team for being there to execute our wedding. Our family, friends and other venders are still talking about how the wedding was executed ON TIME the entire day!!!! Thank you love!!!

There were about 1001 decisions to be made when it came to planning our wedding. We were over 4 months out and I was already swearing that the best decision we ever made was hiring Katie from The Event Design company as our Day of/Month of coordinator. 3 weeks after the wedding and not only am I still saying it, but i quite honestly believe the wedding would not have been as perfect as it was without her. I am a type A control freak, who has a hard time letting go of anything. I started out the wedding planning insisting i didn't need help and would do it all myself, but ended up seeking out Katie to assist with the set up and tear down of the wedding day decor. That's all I thought I needed; but Katie went so far above and beyond from the minute she was brought on board. She is so knowledgeable and experienced, that she was there to answer every question, give honest professional advice and look into everything from bakeries, to shuttle services and more. She allowed me to be as involved as I wanted to be and have control over what I needed to, while still taking over all the things I needed help with. When it came to the weeks leading up to the wedding, there is no chance I would have made it through without her. The detail and organization that goes into everything she does is incredible and her calm, but excited energy is infectious. Everyone loved her; but I knew, at the end of the day she had my husband and my back, with our best interests at the forefront at all time. The wedding day was absolutely perfect. Every member of our bridal party (all of which had been in several weddings before) separately commented that they couldn't believe how smoothly the day went. Our schedule was jam packed, but everyone was calm and if anything went wrong I certainly didn't know about it. She executed my vision and took it up another notch entirely. Knowing how capable she was, the girl who lets go of nothing, was able to be completely present and soak up every single moment of the day. I worried about nothing and enjoyed everything and I owe that to The Event Design Company. I would recommend her and her team to anyone planning a wedding, no matter how big, or what you need, you will look back and thank yourself for making that choice!

When we were planning our wedding, we were on the fence about whether or not we needed a coordinator. We decided to go ahead with it, and never regretted it for a minute! The Event Design Co. were absolute life savers on the wedding day, and played a huge role in keeping us sane in the weeks leading up to the wedding. It was such a pleasure working with Katie both leading up to, and on the wedding day. We appreciated her calm and professional demeanour, her thorough approach to communicating with all of our vendors, and her attention to detail with every little thing on the wedding day. We had expected to set up our decor the day before, but because of the weather, had to have Katie do it on the day of the wedding. She took great care to make sure that everything was exactly as we had planned it, and set everything up very tastefully. The rest of our vendors had nothing but positive things to say about their interactions with her. She kept everyone organized and on time, and made sure that everyone knew what was happening. We were so grateful to be able to be present and enjoy our wedding in a way that we wouldn’t have been able to had we not had her executing everything behind the scenes. She handled every little emergency gracefully without anyone knowing the difference (including us - and that was the best gift!) Thank you, Katie, for making our day the most perfect, magical, flawless celebration we could have imagined. We highly recommend the Event Design Co. for any event planning needs!

We cannot thank Katie and her team enough. They were the backbone of our wedding! Katie has this amazing talent of paying attention to detail, remembering even the tiniest instructions, and making the whole wedding process a breeze. My husband and I were feeling very overwhelmed by the scheduling of the big day, as well as all the emails/contact necessary with our vendors. As soon as we hired Katie, she took over the lead of ensuring a smooth planning process...and she ROCKED at it. The wedding itself went as smoothly as it possibly could. Katie coordinated everything so perfectly for us and all of our guests. Despite living a few hour drive away from us, she was always willing to make the trek (even in a snowstorm!) to visit with us. It relieved A LOT of stress for us, as we both have busy schedules at work. We HIGHLY recommend Katie and her team for any planning/coordination needs. She is a saviour.
