My family's first time at this church and will not be coming back. NOBODY greeted us when we enter and while we were hanging our coats and trying to figure out where the kids classes where people from the nursery was just looking at us but didn't bother to ask if we were ok. I Went to the information desk at the entrance to ask about the kids classes and the guy there had no idea. After the kids went to their classes we sat down at the back and 5 seconds later I felt someone grabbed me by the shoulders, an usher, just to tell me with an angry tone that I was sitting on HIS spot! That was my welcoming right there! So I moved. A few minutes later this usher was telling someone he knew: " yeah, that is my spot right there... blah blah blah.... you can sit there, I will find another spot" No harm done I was like "whatever". But what really annoyed me was the fact that about half way into the service, when some of the kids were dismissed and quite a few people went to use the washroom (including myself). On my way out there he was this same usher sitting right in the hallway by the entrance and he gave me the look of " you are not welcome here, you sat in my spot" so I ignored him. When I came back there were a couple of women ahead of me and clearly saw this "usher" looking at these women's behinds with such lust that his facial expressions couldn't deny it. Then he saw me and he just looked the other way. I couldn't catch his name because his name tag was backwards but it was that older srocky fella, white hair, white moustache glasses probably late 50's. Beware of him. Not a nice person They should choose more carefully the ushers. I understand an usher must be welcoming, caring and someone who makes you feel at home. Not this time I went. Other than that the service was ok, really liked that at the end of the service they let the elderly people leave first. But o won't be coming back.
