It is not a friendly welcoming place. The food is fair but the price is not competitive. For an ethnic community centre it is less than inviting. The programs only have nationalistic chauvinistic content. Only those Hungarian speaking people are welcome who believe in Hungarian superiority and the Great Hungarian Kingdom.

The food is overpriced at $15/plate, considering that for this you get a main course and a pastry from Costco for dessert. At minimum, I would expect a homemade dessert for the price that they charge and not pre-packaged, mass-produced breakfast pastries from a box store. Unfortunately, this sort of thing just gives Hungarian cuisine a bad name.

A run-down building in an industrial zone, with a very dated kitchen, a bar and dreary banquet area. The kitchen is run by elderly volunteers, so one wonders if professional food preparation standards are being followed. Avoid eating here.

I love this place. The people and atmosphere make me want to return. I've been a few times now. What's great is that they are accepting of anyone as I'm Hungarian background but my friend not and she's the one who wanted to go back.
