Had an amazing night there for a birthday/anniversary. Staff were lovely and venue is simply amazing - lots of space and a decidedly cool feel. New York loft meets East End knees up. Pucker.

My husband and I booked the space on the first floor for our wedding reception back in December. It’s a nice and cosy space with everything you would need. However the service was extremely unprofessional. Hannah and Toby take a very casual approach with regards to arrangements, however communication is bad so it is best to have everything (absolutely everything) in writing or email as a point of reference else you face the risk of unexpected deductions from your deposit. Also, we would recommend for future clients to choose one of the managers to communicate with and stick with them as using them interchangeably may lead to contradictions on their side. Overall, the service we felt was sub-standard and I personally would not recommend for weddings if you’re looking for an organised and supportive service. The managers sometimes took days to reply to important emails, and didn’t always return phone calls which added additional stress to what was already a very taxing period (I.e. wedding planning). Whilst trying to overcome the miscommunications regarding our deposit after the event, Hannah was very rude on the phone, shouted that she didn’t have the time to discuss their decision to deduct from our deposit as she had other events to deal with, and was generally just very difficult to talk to.

We had our wedding at 4th floor studios in September and it was a wonderful day. The venue is lovely - two beautiful rooms, one we used for the meal and dance floor, the other for the ceremony and bar. There is also a roof terrace. Toby was obliging throughout the day, troubleshooting various problems and never getting stressed. It was good value compared to other venues in the area and the 2 o’clock licence was also later than most of the other places we looked at.

The building is lovely on the outside but the inside looks like it's a mish mash of junk bought from ebay. Inside its OK but if any of the 'edgy' neighbours are burning plastic in their garden it can really put you off your meal. I got off to a bad start as the toilets were simply revolting, I wanted to complain but didn't want to spoil the occasion so let it go. This is one of those pretentious setups that I would avoid at all costs. Don't ruin a special occasion by booking this place as there are so many better options locally.
