My daughter recently went to a party here and found it wonderful. The gym is great. I have read some reviews stating that the place is in Decline. It's hard to tell if someone had a romanticized view of what it was like a long time ago. That seems to be the case. Because it seemed nice enough to me. I suspect people become very nostalgic when they think back to a place they went to 20 or even 30 years ago I'm not sure how long this place is been open. But it is obvious that it is a wonderful addition for the Italian Community in Toronto. Here's hoping it continues to thrive and enrich the Lawrence Avenue neighborhood.

After visiting yesterday, I totally understand why I've seen so many signs about saving this place. Sadly, I don't think it's going to matter, and it's going to be torn down and replaced with more condos. It's beautiful inside and the cafe has some amazing food. When I was eating out on the patio I felt like I was at a resort. It's the exact opposite of the boring, dullness of Lawrence Ave. on the other side of the building. It's bad enough that so many other great places in this city are being replaced with condos, but this will really be a loss when it's torn down.

Ristorante Boccaccio: is a hidden pearl in the CC. As a classically trained chef, I seldom get to relive a most genuine culinary experience, from every aspect. You know - all natural (& ripe) ingredients that cooked to perfection (no need for can openers n this kitchen, I'm sure!), no skimping on Seafood, delicious pasta, fabulous tasting hot & cold sauces, their homemade foccaccia's wonderful olive oil aroma and taste sent me to the moon and back with EACH bite! The attentiveness of their very knowledgeable staff had me feeling like I was on a 1st class cruise ship. So friendly! ...yet knew how to disappear ;-) It was a weekday full-on lunch with an old friend that surpassed many a "fine dining" dinner (with zero exaggeration!) And for all of that, we paid a reasonable price. Top grades. 2 thumbs up!! 👍👍

Went to a wedding here and it was a surprisingly nice venue. Lovely indoor space and well air-conditioned (important because it was 45℃ outside.)

I love being a member. There's the gym and the pool. My two most favourite things. There's even new gym equipment in there. Nice showers.
