Our wedding at Twist was as multiple people called it, ‘magical’ and the best wedding they have ever been too. From the venue itself, to the ceremony, food and party we were so fortunate to have worked with Nadia and her team as they helped us from start to finish. My wife had an amazing time planning the wedding with Nadia and her assistant Amy. Throughout the process they were very hands-on and extremely communicative. They were willing to be flexible with the schedule and as things changed even within the week leading up to the wedding. They were extremely helpful in our planning process and have since been helpful as we tie up loose ends at the venue. The reason I wanted to have the party there was because when I used to DJ I always dreamt of djiing there as it is the ultimate ‘cool loft space’ in trendy west queen west, and it lived up to my dreams of a fantastic vibe and party. The catering for the wedding is from gusto 54, the same company behind gusto 101 (if you don’t know it, look into the restaurant, you can rarely even get a table) and people were blown away with the food. Finally, the space is incredible for an intimate and charming wedding even for a good number of people. The art was incredible [Nadia has phenomenal taste] and it was cosy yet spacious enough for a kicking dance party. If you have Twist as an option for a wedding party or any function just go with it! It’s well worth it.

The Twist Gallery host Earl Haig secondary School's art majors display in the late winter and early spring of every Academic Year. The students enjoy going downtown and on the opening night they get to explain or host the event. The venue on the second floor provides a wonderful showcase for secondary students. The artwork that they produce is fantastic.

We had our wedding at Twist Gallery and had such a wonderful experience. Our guests complimented us on the unique venue and the delicious food (catered by Gusto 54 through the venue). Nadia the owner and Amie helped us through the entire process. We highly recommend this place for a wedding venue if someone wants something more unique than a banquet hall and something your guests will be talking about for a long time!
