We had our wedding here. It's a large, beautiful hall with wood floors. It's very DIY -- you'll need decor, catering, tablecloths. etc. and it means a lot of coordinating between people. But if you're on a budget, you can have a beautiful wedding here for very little money -- $1600 for an 8 hour wedding. The grounds are beautiful for taking photos. It can be difficult to get anyone on the phone to arrange the details, and some of the staff are a little eager to get off the phone when you do track them down (the community centre does much more than just weddings), but if you can look past that you really can't beat the price for an event venue. The staff allowed us to come in the day before the wedding to drop things off and start setting up, which was very helpful.

I've been to a few events here, comedy nights, Easter festivities with kids, and the annual celebration in the parking lot. A great community hub. Exactly what you'd want and expect it to be.
