My husband and I had our son’s baptism at Prima Luna and we and all of our guests were very disappointed. Party was supposed to start at 5 and my guests were very rudely told to wait outside until 5:30. Outside, on the pavement; All 80 of us. The valet was upset that we were in their way ( with reason), waiting in the parking lot for half an hour. ( our party was held in the tent) Once we were allowed in, we were not served anything until 720. Not even bread, because the bread is « only to be served with the appetizers » . Our main dish only came out by 10:45 . My guests were furious and many didn’t stay for dessert. The food was good, however the rudeness of the maître D and the length between courses made the taste of the food insignificant. The tent had AC however it only cooled half of the tent space. Actually, I should say half of the guests were FROZEN, wearing scarves and jackets in May , and the other half were sweating. It was so cold on one side of the text that the waiters admitted to standing on the warm side because they could not stand the cold any longer. Needless to say, my husband and I were embarrassed and furious. Our guests were upset. I had heard many good things about the restaurant, however they failed immensely with us and our guests kept saying they would never go back there. Perhaps they were having a bad day, as they were fully booked, but I don’t see why my son’s baptism had to pay the price .. just very disappointing. ***** I am editing to add that the young waiters and waitresses were really Great :)

Went for mothers day, table of 6. Easy reservations, great atmosphere. We enjoyed the fact that there was live entertainment ( singer with guitar ) we did not feel rushed. Well priced and generous portions. Highly recommended. Will be going back. A pleasant surprise to find a restaurant of this calibre in Montreal's east end.

Hosted my husband 50th bday in the tent. Food was delicious but portions were so small . We were about 75 people and service was bad. It was 40 degrees that day and the vents in the tent weren't working properly, one side was freezing and the other side people were sweating. Only when i went to pay was I was told that i was offered the big hall and that i did not take it, which was a lie, with the weather that day I would of taken it. Dealt with Robert for the menu and assured me I wouldn't be making a "brutta figura" and I did. Canapes were over in about 30 mins( I had guests there for an hour before I arrived), pasta was a scoop each ,salad was the size of a tennis ball, main was ok. Our bartender did not know her drinks. Thank God I ordered pizza for later as my guests were all hungry. And as I said if dealing with Robert for a party make sure you write everything down and check your contract to a T. He is very good at mincing with words. I was taking advantage of and I will never make that mistake again.

The food and service are excellent. Good choice of wine. One of the best Italien food I have had. Reminds me of being in Italy. The waiters are very cool.

Well I went there for a wedding. That food was crazy good. Well trained staff and glasses were always full...with wine. I had to cover my glass
