Absolutely beautiful and magical place. Would love to have my wedding there. I felt so calm and at peace here. Can't wait to go again!

We are repeat guests and will be for many years to come. Beautiful location. Darren and Lynn are wonderful hosts and always helpful with suggestions on how to spend the day (if you need some ideas) . Breakfast is amazing. Rooms are IMMACULATE. We travel with our dogs, but guests who do not would NEVER guess the Riverhouse is dog friendly.

This B&B was perfect for our trip to Jay Peak. We really wanted to bring our dog but the mountain accommodations have a strict no pet policy. I'm glad it does because the breakfast we had at Phineas were worth the trip alone. We stayed in the Trout River Suite with our pup. There was a dog bed and two bowls for her when we arrived. Plenty of room, a warm fireplace and a large balcony overlooking the river. A nice selection of coffee in our room, great Vermont craft beers for sale in the main house and a great location with a few restaurants as well as a ski shop. Garrett had our lift tickets ready for us when we arrived and the mountain report printed out for us each morning. An incredible host. Highly recommend staying here whether you have a dog or not.

Phineas Swan serves breakfast to the public. We won a breakfast through a silent auction so we have not stayed there YET. We made reservations as requested and were warmly greeted. Our breakfast consisted of stuffed blackberry French toast served with ample Vermont Maple Syrup. We were invited to tour the grounds with our Yellow Lab named Mia. After a relaxing walk by the Trout River, we decided that we will be back for a weekend stay.

My stay at Phineas Swann B&B was probably the most fun I've had on vacation, Darren and Lynn were very welcoming and friendly. The complimentary breakfast every morning was delicious and my room had a great view of the river in the back of the place. The rooms and main house were very well kept and clean and I found the whole woodsy style of the place very aesthetically pleasing. I would definitely recommend this place for people looking to vacation in Vermont. Darren and Lynn are professional bead and breakfast-ers, and I also plan on reading Darren's book soon too!
