We hired Elyna to plan our fall wedding, and we do not have enough good things to say about her. She truly helped make our wedding weekend the best weekend of our lives. She always made herself available to talk, always eased our stresses leading up to the wedding, and really cared about making the wedding exactly how we wanted it. On the actual wedding day, we did not have to deal with 1 vendor, did not have to deal with any hiccups occurring. Elyna made sure the entire weekend was as seamless as possible. Elyna, thank you so much. We don't know how we could have gotten our wedding done without you. Would recommend her to anyone, and will be recommending her to all of our friends.

My husband found Elyna who reassured him that for a $7000 fee she would fully plan our wedding as we were both very busy professionals from Toronto and only had 6 months to prepare. We were told she would take care of everything, all we had to do was pick colors, materials etc. However, weeks went by without progress, as she continuously pushed us into venues and vendors that were convenient for her and not to the rustic Montreal winter wedding we wanted. We agreed that we would make all the calls to vendors, to churches, musicians and then asked for a rebate. After a month of this we asked for all our money back since we did everything and she refused to credit us back anything. We then fired her. In retrospect we should have taken it to small claims, however it seemed more trouble than it was worth. Elyna kept our $3500 and for the next 5 months we finished planning ourselves and had our dream wedding. Had we made the right choice we could have saved much time, hassle and of course money.

The journey to our wedding day and the success that it was would not have been possible if it wasn’t for Elyna Kudish. Elyna represents the very best in planning and design and no interested couple should overlook her skills and personal engagement in planning their own wedding. Our story with Elyna began a year and half before our wedding date. We interviewed several planners and settled on Elyna because we shared one common perspective: we wanted to have a partnership to our big day. Elyna’s referrals, pictures, and portfolio were all evidence to her skillset but her personal engagement was something we required but were never sure she could deliver. Not only did Elyna deliver, she knocked it out of the park. Elyna’s work was magic. Elyna elicits two character traits that are fundamental to her success. The first is she is a perfectionist. We have found this to be a requirement in wedding planners. Elyna handled not just every detail of the wedding from introducing us to vendors and suppliers, setting up calls, putting forward agendas, following up on contracts, maintaining a budget, negotiating proposals, conducting transactions, and ultimately making sure her team delivered, she did so with a level of detail and project management that put us at ease. As a couple that elicits obsessive qualities, her personality became a disarming agent to the nervousness we had with making sure our day was perfect. Elyna managed our expectations with her consistent push to be perfect – Elyna was perfect. Elyna’s second trait that we came to deeply appreciate is her availability and attentiveness. Elyna went beyond her role interceding in conflict while always providing perspective from her years of experience. There was never a moment when she wasn’t around for us by phone, text, and email. We live in another country and Elyna made herself routinely available for us answering our questions and addressing our unnecessary concerns and anxiety. When we would visit, her weekend was ours. You expect a planner to simply put the right people in the right places at the right time. Elyna did that but she also made sure that whoever we were dealing with worked well together. She assembled the team so that when the big moment came, everyone knew each-others moves. That comes because Elyna put in the time and the effort to make the day happen. Countless hours were spent on her end and many more dealing with us. We were not an afterthought. She was our partner in this journey and her presence at every stage made the difference. When the vows were exchanged, and first dance had, and the cake was cut, we were speechless. The time and effort in the lead-up to our wedding made the experience deeply emotional for us. Our family and friends say it best – that was the best wedding they ever attended. Perhaps though the ultimate testament to Elyna’s success is that we now consider her a dear friend. We will never forget our day and the memories we made. Elyna is an absolute treasure. We offer her our highest recommendation.
