This venue has an amazing diversity of architecture. There is not one place in this building that I don't want to photograph. Whether you are looking for a wedding venue or office space you have to check out Mill 1. John and Maggie are incredible business owners and have brought so much energy and charm into all that they offer. They will go above and beyond to ensure their client’s needs are their priority.

The Mill @ Square 1 was the site of our daughter's News Years eve wedding. If you are looking for a unique venue that offers a different atmosphere, then you must consider the Mill. Fully set up and decorated the Mill was absolutely spectacular. Our event co-ordinator, Denise, was extremely professional and easy to deal with. She was very patient with us and always willing to assist with special wedding requests. Also, the bar staff did a fantastic job meeting the needs of our guests....VERY PROFESSIONAL!! A big thank-you to Maggie and John proprietors of the Mill.

We had lined up a few venues to check out for our ceremony and reception, and Mill 1 was the first place we visited. After meeting Maggie and seeing the space, we were hooked! We cancelled our other appointments and reserved our date. The fact that Open Square is a carbon-neutral space was a huge bonus for us, too. The space was the perfect size for our reception (about 100 guests), and the staff worked hard to make sure that everything went smoothly before and during our wedding. The bar staff were on top of their game, too. So many of our guests remarked on how wonderful the space was, and we couldn't have been happier!

Mill 1 was the absolute perfect place for our wedding. The owner, Maggie, was wonderful to work with and did everything she could to make our day go as smooth as possible (which it did). The venue looked amazing and our guests had nothing but compliments on how beautiful it was. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you are looking for a unique venue that will wow your guests, Mill 1 is the place for you!

Mill 1 at Open Square went above and beyond to ensure that we had a perfect wedding day! The space itself is gorgeous-- exposed brick, hardwood floors, huge windows. The mill was restored beautifully and makes for the perfect event space. The fact that it was a net zero energy building was especially appealing to my husband- an architect interested in sustainable building practices. Our guests continue to rave about the unique space, which just reaffirms for us what a fabulous choice it was to have our wedding at Mill 1.
