Awesome space with the exception of what looks like some serious structural issues.

Great staff, great venue.

Aug 28, 2014
On May 10th, 2014, we had the immense pleasure of celebrating our wedding at Loft le 4eme, operated by Patrick Lalonde and colleagues. We chose this venue for our special day for several reasons. First, the location can’t be beat, with beautiful views of the old port, cobble stone streets and tourists enjoying horse-drawn carriage rides. Second, the space is sufficiently large, but not too expansive, which provided the right amount of elbowroom to be comfortable AND maintain an intimate atmosphere for 70 people. Given our taste in music, we also required a pumping sound system. Our set design and theme for the evening required special lighting and the projection of videos on the walls, all of which were easy to implement at this reception hall. In addition to the venue, we were particularly impressed by the quality of service we received before, during and after our event. We were welcomed by helpful staff to view the layout of the space before the event in order to plan our set design. Patrick chose to go ‘above-and-beyond’ in service by purchasing and transporting the large quantity of ice we required for the evening; he also arranged to have cutlery and dishware delivered at a reasonable price. Patrick’s choice of staff for the evening was superb; servers and barmen/maids greeted our guests with warmth and prompt service. Our guests also adored the security personnel that were kind enough to pose in comical photos with our group of friends. Patrick is also very considerate: at the end of our wedding, we were allowed to leave items at the loft for safe keeping until we were ready to retrieve them a few days later. Given such exceptional quality in service, we will certainly host our next event at Loft le 4eme and have Patrick play an integral role in planning for the evening.
