To say that photography was an important part of our wedding would be an understatement (we booked it immediately after securing a date/venue!). After we met with Laura, we knew we had found our photographer. Not only was she extremely personable and easy to talk to when we first met, her pictures spoke for themselves. Laura absolutely has a creative gift that she can capture any given moment and make it look beautiful and special. Anyone who has planned a large event, like a wedding, knows how much time, effort, and sometimes stress comes with it. I can confidently say that once we had officially booked Laura as our photographer, I breathed a sigh of relief knowing that we would be in good hands. Laura is confident in her artistry which makes you feel at ease - she knows exactly what she wants you to do for each shot and will guide you every step of the way. Not only is Laura’s photography amazing, but her turnaround rate is unreal. We had a handful of “sneak peek” photos immediately following the wedding and then were pleasantly surprised with our full gallery less than two weeks later! We couldn’t have been happier with Laura as our photographer and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for beautiful photos to capture a special moment in their lives.

I have experience with Laura on several projects: my parents wedding, my own engagement and wedding, and one of my bridesmaids (turned Laura Kelly bride) weddings. I have been following her work for a few years now, admiring every session she does. She regularly uploads her sessions to share, blog posts of photography related things and about her personal family life which is fun to read and stay in touch. On my wedding day she was punctual, organized, friendly and calm. She was very professional in her attire, and the way she approached the bridal party. Her photos were really fun to be a part of... creative and unique poses that really capture the candid moments perfectly. As a business woman myself, I understand her time is valuable and I respect her business model and the way she runs it. She gets to know her bride and groom with any detail she can so she can tailor those photos as best she can to capture the couple appropriately in either props, or how she writes about them in the blog or even because he loves her smile - so she'll take a photo of her smile to always remind him of it (for example). Overall I highly recommend Laura. She is a wonderful woman, she has worked extremely hard on her business - and deserves every bit of success she's had from it. I know that any future Laura Kelly bride will not be left disappointed as myself, my friend (my bridesmaid), and my parents were all very happy with the results. Thanks again Laura, I'm always re-living my wedding day through the photos that you took for us.

I first met Laura over three years ago when she photographed my friend’s wedding. From the moment I met her and saw her work, I knew I had to have her for my own wedding! Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working with her multiple times (for two mini sessions and our engagement photos) and she’ll shoot our wedding next summer. Laura is worth every penny of her fees – and more. She’s incredibly talented and has a way of instantly putting you at ease in front of the camera. She’ll keep you laughing so that it’s a fun experience yet she’ll provide you with exactly the direction you need to capture gorgeous images. She’s also super responsive (I’ve always received photos from her at lightning speed) and has been really helpful throughout the wedding planning process. I highly recommend Laura!

5 stars doesn't begin to explain how amazing our experience was with Laura Kelly! We knew from the beginning, photography was one of the most important pieces of our wedding. When we stumbled upon Laura's blog, there was no question, we needed her and were so happy once we booked! From the very beginning, we were treated as friends and not just clients. I could have never expected to be treated so well by our photographer. We were so comforted by her friendly demeanour & couldn't wait for the wedding day with her! We did end up making many, many changes to our wedding. We initially booked a big wedding, then changed venue, then changed reception location and more. We finally settled on a small, intimate wedding with 8 guests. Throughout all the changes, Laura was so supportive! We were so excited to have our entire collection of wedding photos in such a short time. The best part was getting to see a photo the very next day! She captured photos which showed so much emotion. While my husband & I were looking through all our pictures, we looked at each other so many times and said "that is so you". She captured our genuine smiles when we look at each other and our family. We couldn't be happier! I also had the pleasure of taking one of Laura's workshops, which was amazing! It was such a comfortable and fun workshop. I would recommend it to anyone! She taught us so much & I gained so much knowledge in a short time.
