Stone Hall Castle is a unique experience. It is a 'Jewel' in Regina. I paid for that experience and I received full value for my money. The story, the history, the sights, and the environment transported me and my family back in time. As the tour began with the entrance door shutting close (hear that sound), we were transported to a different age. My mother visiting from India loved the tour, and she acknowledged this money was well spent, it was indeed a great tour for me :). The host/owner of the castle, Jason, seems to be pumping back investments into the castle, and in time, this will be one of the wonders in Regina. In fact, to me, it already is. An astute businessman, I credit Jason for his hard work, creativity, and ability to transform this place, which has many local historic significance, to a place where one would definitely want to visit while visiting Regina and will always remember. There is a surprise at the end of the tour. A must see in Regina. I will return...

It was a wonderful tour. Jason was knowledgeable, open to questions and made the experience well worth the cost of admission. Eventhough it obviously was not an authentic castle it had an authentic feel and ambiance. We had 2 adults a 12, 11 and 10 year old with us that all thought it was awesome.

Where to start. Despite the rating, this was not my favorite visit on history and not what I expected. I give it 4 stars because I absolutely respect the time, effort and budget this takes from the owner. It's an artistic passion and I believe this needs credit given. The castle is a mix of collections (furniture, art, armory) from different centuries and varied origins. Very good for a refreshing afternoon or evening, good for kids as well. Almost like a museum tour. What I found strange was the gentlemen who hayve the tour was dressed classy with a nice suit and tie, while the girls working the candles were dressed medieval style. I think it would make a better impression if he was medieval as well, or if the girls were following his style of clothing. Otherwise, great and welcoming atmosphere.

The host gives an amazing history filled tour of the castle. The castle itself is a beautiful meld of stone, wood, and hand forged steel. The smell of wood fire and bee's wax candles permeates the air, as warm candle light dances on the walls. Careful consideration was taken to fill the rooms with lavish decor from centuries gone by, blended seemlessly with a few modern luxuries. Soothing music plays as you drift through narrow stone corridors into airy rooms adorned with gorgeous hand carved wooden furniture, and beautiful tapestries. Truly a pleasure for the senses.

This is a pretty cool and unique place. The owner has taken a deep dive into local lore and has decorated his castle with authentic art and relics from the medieval era. The lighting plays tricks on your camera here so you’ll either see light distortion in your pictures - or spirit orbs... I’m a skeptic, I’m thinking it’s all the candles and the dim lighting in the rooms; but there were definitely believers on the tour that felt it was authentic. The painting of the angry man was definitely creepy.
