Older building is kind of run down and dimly lit. Could stand a renovation with better more modern lighting. The main feature of this place is the curling rink, which have pillars between the sheets and no walking space. The lobby is quite shabby as of this writing with somewhat worn and old style flooring and the walls seem to have a tinge of tabacco coloring from before the smoking ban of 2005. Adding either more lights or Windows would be of benefit for new attendees as they would make for a better first impression. The curling I am lead to believe is first rate due to the ice maker and the long time players. The other claim to fame for this building is the annual Mosaic pavilion for the club which regularly is filled past capacity in an otherwise quiet early June slot.

I play pickleball at the Tartan Curling Club. The club has been great to the 400+ members of Pickleball Regina and deserves cudos for facilitating us during their off-season. We have painted 8 pickleball courts on the cement which normally holds the curling ice. My only complaint is that it's always too hot in the building. When we start playing hard, the warm building turns into a sauna. Still, it's such a great facility for pickleball, that I will keep going.

Came to the Tartan with a large group of friends for one of the monthly Blenders. The staff is friendly, the service is great, the drinks are cheap, and the food was delicious. The Tartan has always done a great job at making our group feel welcome and at home. We always look forward to our visits. My only gripe would be that the live music has been a bit too loud - during our visits anyway. Too loud to talk to the person beside you. Thankfully, the music has always been exceptional as well.

The ice is heavier than the other rinks in Regina. It's the most "authentic" feeling, traditional Saskatchewan curling rink and a decent place to host a party. A great selection of scotch at the bar.

This place is great for curling and great to hold big events at during the summer!
