I stayed here 4 years ago for one night. The hotel was clean, fairly modern and nice for a romantic getaway. The hot springs and pool were fun to swim in. The mineral water felt nice on the skin and was a refreshing change from regular pools. The gift shop has lots of neat things to browse through. I did not eat at the restaurant during this stay. The manitou lake itself is also very interesting. The water is very salty (more so than the ocean), and you can float without swimming which was a cool experience. If you are nearby I would definitely recommend staying here for a weekend or at least one night.

Very nice rooms, polite and helpful staff. Superb, healing experience in the pool. Very relaxing. This my second year going there. Pleasant stay overall. Room service needs an immediate huge improvement effort (heard similar, but stronger opinion from other guests on the floor). The actual salt lake is great and is just a 100 meters away. It's more friendly and safer in my opinion than the actual Deal Sea.

We have spend time each year for the last 3 years at Manitou Beach and have had the majority of our meals in your hotel. The service has always been friendly and efficient, and we have never had a complaint regarding the food. We have always enjoyed the pool and your staff have been very accommodating. This June, instead of renting one of the homes in the area we have made reservations and are looking forward to spending a very relaxing week in one of your corner balcony suites overlooking the lake. The additional benefits of good food, good service, free breakfast and the pool makes us realize it makes sense to stay in your hotel. See you soon and hopefully many summers after.

First time in - a cozy place that's starting to show it's age, but has (apparently) had quite a few renovations recently, particularly to the lobby and attached restaurant. The service was friendly and accommodating; the room was large and comfortable. Expect a few non-chain hotel quirks, but enjoy the small-town feel of the place. The spa is another area that shows it's age, but is also closed a few weeks each winter for a cleaning (if I'm understanding the website correctly). You can expect very clean change rooms. The spa is simple space with 3 temperatures of pools to alternate through - all indoors. All-in-all, the experience was good. As more renovations are done to the place, I anticipate the quality of the stay to only get better.

We went to the mineral spa only. Facilities were very clean. The water was very therapeutic. All staff were friendly. It would be nice if the snack bar would take debit or credit. It's hard carrying cash around that environment.
