We did an archaeology tour with Honey, her mom chose the name not me, it was fantastic! Tour was very informative and very interesting to learn how the digs and finds have affected even current policy making. The facility, grounds and tour exceeded expectations. Also the Pike Tacos we ate were by far best fish tacos i have ever eaten. We will be back in winter to hear the stories that could not be told that day.

I love this place. It's a great venue for conferences, or just to visit. It's family friendly and offers such great learning opportunities. The art gallery is excellent, as is their restaurant, which has a lot of Aboriginal-style foods. Muskeg tea is a must try!. The gift shop is lovely with a wide variety of items. Everything is affordable. It's so nice to find a place that doesn't gouge you. If you want to learn more about First Nations culture and history, this is the place to go.

Was impressed with the facility and the trails. Went with a school group and the guide was super. Lots of knowledge and great interactions with the kids. Would highly recommend a visit.

I didn't go to eat or shop. I went to learn about Aboriginal life. There aren't many displays inside. No real artifacts. The art display was weak. The jingle dancer was the best part of my visit. Interpretive trails are a lot of walking to see next to nothing. Based on what I had seen so far I didn't venture as far as the rubbing rock, but sis all the other trails. The site is beautiful, no wonder the aboriginals camped out in the area. The parts I found most interesting weren't on the map, or "interpreted." Maybe you really need a guided tour here, whenever they are offered? Sorry, but a similar story is told in a much better way at Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump.
