Great space for shows. Great sound. Great bar staff. Great security staff. Needs better ventalation though, I was sweating like a fat kid at a buffet.

I've gone to some great shows here. Also, for the size of crowd I've definitely seen grosser washrooms by the end of the night.

The past few times I have gone to events here, the staff and experience as a whole has been excellent. There was a point in time that it went downhill but now seems to be back to the standards of when it first became The Odeon. Great overall.

Good event center. Went to an all age event and they were really good with keeping the underage out if the 19+ area.

O'Brians Event Centre is a fun place to see live shows. It isn't a very big place so you don't have to worry about large crowds. It's an open concept place with very little seating so you have to be ok standing for shows unless you pay for VIP tickets which gets a better view from an upper balcony with tables and chairs. The line at the bar for drinks was never too long and they had a decent selection of beers, cider and hard liquor. The coat check was reasonably priced at 2$ although free would be even better! The ticket price for the show I attended (Rural Alberta Advantage on Dec. 1/2017) was 30$ which was a nice surprise given the bloating ticket prices for live shows across the country in recent years. The staff was all very friendly and ushered people out gently after the show had concluded. One thing I did notice was that certain sounds/instruments would drown out the others during the show. Maybe this is simply an artifact of the room design or if the band simply set it up that way, but often times the lead singer's voice and guitar would drown out the keyboardist and even the drummer! Otherwise the show was great, as was the atmosphere at this location. I would definitely see more shows here!
