One star for the beautiful setting, off the beaten path if you need to unplug. Our group was “upgraded” from our smaller air conditioned cabin to the larger non-air conditioned cabin for the last minute interest of another group. Booked very early in the year and when we got there, was informed of the change. Over half of our group sweltered in the heat overnight and will reconsider staying at The Outerbanks next time.

Stayed in the Riverstone Chalet for 3 nights, and snowmobiled 2 days. The place is amazing, and the snow/trail conditions were awesome. The owners are always available, and great to deal with. Highly recommend the stay here, the view from the hot tub is unbeatable!
