Tomas and I got married on July 28th/2018 and we couldn't have been happier or more sure of the place to have our ceremony at. The owners made sure all the chairs were set up plenty ahead of time and they were very good at communicating about where electricity needed to be set up. They were very accommodating to many grandparents who could not walk and needed help getting to the ceremony area. This place is an absolutely beautiful place for a wedding. The views are breathtaking and the amount of care put into the place is outstanding. The flowers around the berry barn are absolutely beautiful and definitely not lacking. Many family members had lunch after the ceremony at their restaurant and I heard nothing but great comments about how tasty it was and how great of service they had!! Thanks for helping make our day so special!

Nice little place outside of town. The food is decent and fairly priced. I recommend their perogies or pancakes! You are able to go pick your own berries or go for a walk along side the river. Weekends can be very very busy, best times are on a sunny weekday. Take the day off work! Take a picture with the bear!

Nice place with a decent amount of parking. Can be very busy with wait times on weekends. Locally owned and everything tastes great. The scenery is nice as it’s located alongside the river. Wish there was a bit more work done along the riverbank. Lots of garden things to purchase. I would come back but personally not on weekends. Best on a sunny day for a great experience. Nice place.

The Berry Barn is an iconic part of Saskatoon and has long been one of my favourite places to visit. Tucked away on Valley Road their trails, outdoor restaurant seating and event locations all provide a gorgeous view of the river that I would struggle to call anything less than idyllic. The gift shop, although a little on the expensive side, always has unique items and delicious jams/preserves. In the restaurant you'll find all of the desserts are to die for and most of the mains are the same, I always go for their signature mushroom soup in a bread bowl. Although I would recommend visiting in the summer or fall they are open 11 months a year (not January) so if you're craving some delicious Saskatoon berry themed sweets or a walk along the river in the chillier months then the Berry Barn is still definitely the place to be.

My sister and I went on Thursday, Aug 2, 2018. It was so packed and busy that we could barely move in the gift shop. Only one staff at the till. We then went to the greenhouse area. Every time my sister tried to buy something she had to ring a bell and wait for the one staff working. We are both seniors with breathing and walking difficulties but we decided to walk up around the corner for an ice cream cone. When we get there NO STAFF! She was over at the go carts. When she finally spotted us she waved and then put through another group of go carter's. All in all we waited close to 30 mins and she never came. We finally gave up and left! When I got home to P.A. today I went to taste my Honey Mustard and the date on the lid was "best by 4 2017"!!! The sales receipt says all sales final!!! All in all my experience at this place was horrible! I will never go back and will be telling everyone I know about it!!! Response to your response! It makes me sad that you are full of excuses and not taking any responsibility for even one of my complaints. I did not get a discount price on my honey mustard. I bought two jars of dill mustard plus the honey mustard and paid $30.00. Not a great way to treat customers but you have so many one less won't matter, right?
