I would give them no stars if I could. I left my boat there in April of this year to ensure that the work I was wanting would be done before the summer. I agreed to other preventative maintenance work as well. The main reason of being in the shop was to have my starter replaced. After many phone calls, and unanswered messages throughout April, May and into June I was always given a story on why they haven't looked at it yet. My boat was always the next one to be worked on. Barry gave me excuses of the new girl working and how she won't be there much longer, one excuse after another! I finally had to give them a deadline that I wanted to pick up my boat in the second week of June. A couple of days in picking up my boat they said they didn't have my starter in stock and had to order it, I was surprised because they had it in stock back in April when I brought my boat in! Then I was told that I didn't have a starter issue and it was a grounding problem and all is good now. First time putting the boat in the water I had problems starting it and after calling them while I was on the lake Barry said I would have to bring it in, but they were sure it was just a grounding problem. I had another marine mechanic come out to the boat, since I was unable to get the boat back on a trailer! It turned out the starter was faulty and needed to be replaced, which he replaced at the marina and it works perfectly! The long and short of it all, if you want good customer service don't go to Renfrew Marine, if you don't want to be lied to don't go to Renfrew Marine. All I expect is to be communicated too with honesty, respect and have any work done with the outmost professionalism - I have my family out on the lake and their safety is my number one priority! Being stranded with my family on the boat in the middle of the lake due to a problem I was assured didn't exist and is fixed by "Marine Professionals" is unacceptable!

I’m more than a bit disappointed. Have purchased parts here before. Just needed a few parts again. Found the numbers needed to check stock I’ll call you back. I called a total of 9 times. Left messages call me back or I’ll call you back. I just ended up ordering from another boat dealer. I have my parts now. FYI last year I needed to rebuild my sea pump and needed seals the package was broken open there was one seal in it. I paid for both seals. I won’t be back. It’s not about the cost it’s about service.

Bought a boat from there and it has given me nothing but trouble and asking for any assistance is a nightmare. Barry the salesman is extremely unprofessional and just a miserable person to try deal with. You think being in the business of selling luxuries to people who work hard their purchases would be a given but at Renfew Marine the service is terrible and the sales associates are horrendous, crabby, and lack basic customer service skills. I would never purchase anything from there and take from a dissatisfied customer, dont waste your time as you will be greatly disappointed.

Very helpful and pleasant to deal with

If I could I would rate them a Zero. Bought a boat from them and the service stopped there. They cant send out a simple part to save their loves. Worst company I have ever delt with. Zero
