I can call this Bowness Park, “All you can do, for all ages”. I had a fun, relaxing, refreshing day with my family and friends. We had a relaxing barbecue. Lots of snack and food on Canada day. I admire the ducks and geese swimming in the lakes, walking along the lake as they graze in grass. So much to do like catching a ride in the train, swim in the pool, chill out in the water area with your children, walking your dog, rent a paddle boat or canoeing in the lake. Have a refreshing ice-cream, ride your bicycle and more...

This is a perfect place to bring kids for an all-around experience. The pool is fun and the train is really cool. However, lifeguards Sarah and Melissa have had headphones in and were on their phones the entire time we were here (4 hours). They also took a couple leisurely naps. Some children in the pool were calling for help and they never even looked up. Everything else about this place is great. Would come here again just for the experience. 😊

A beautiful park located on the western edge of Calgary in Bowness, nestled against the Bow River. Great activities for young and old in this weekend playground for all ages. Enjoy a walk along the many pathways, a family bbq, water rides, fresh pastries, and even a swimming pool. Arrive early in the day or consider overflow parking on the opposite side of the river (free shuttle)

This park is awesome and the parking is terrible. There are some fun playgrounds, a wading pool, a mini train you can ride on ($10 for a family of 4), and you can rent boats in the summer or skates in the winter. They did a beautiful job fixing it up after the flood. There is a restaurant and coffee shop there to refuel. It's also a great and busy spot to boat launch of you want to float the bow. I love this park and highly recommend a visit here.

One of my favorite park to go because they have more stuff that kids can enjoy. The only thing is they don't have enough options for food to buy.The restaurant nearby is too expensive. I think they should have a small kiosk for drinks, easy food and etc. Some people go there for sightseeing and not bring their food.
