I love the location of this, and the rates are descent for Georgetown. However getting from the entrance to on the paddle board takes way too long. They need to find a way to expedite this for the users sake and the owners, imagine how much revenue is lost to peoples use time getting cut short because they had to spend an hour in line. Other than that the staff is nice and the equipment is descent.

Great and very fun!!! Staff is friendly boats in nice condition easy to use. Good price, the river is nice. One thing idI advise is if you have valuables like wallet or phone, make sure you bring your own padlock! They've got lockers but you need to provide your own lock. Not a big deal, just something to know so you can plan ahead! :)

Great way to spend an hour or two morning afternoon or early evening during the summer. Grab a water bike, kayak, or stand-up paddle board (SUP) and see Georgetown, Roosevelt Island, and Virginia from the vantage point of the Potomac. Every time I've been here the staff is friendly and very helpful. The place can get busy on nice days but it's still worth it. Always feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @joerazz

Why have I not done this sooner?! I had a great time kayaking on the river. The kayaks and paddles are in great shape and well maintained. The life vests are actually pretty cofortable and not too bulky. The employees were friendly and helpful. While out on the water we saw a crane, lot of ducks, and a turtle! Next summer we are getting a season pass! Kayak season is back! The people working on the dock and the cashiers were super, as usual. The water was a little ickier than usual because of the recent rainy weather, but it was still worth it. The icky water is a good reminder to keep our streets clean to keep our water ways clean.
