From instructors were fantastic when going for my FAC with my kids. The customer service offered by those at the front desk was fantastic. I'm thankful for this organization for what it does, but the people that were there make it an amazing place.

Friendly and informative instructor's. I passed the restricted firearms course with no issues! The amount of work they do in Alberta communities and advocating for conservation education, and outdoor youth/women's programs, means I am now a lifetime supporter.

This class runs over two days (about four hours each day) and then has the federal test and practical test. The course has up to 50 people in it and very little personal instruction. They simply lay guns on a table and let people explore them without one on one instruction. I asked for instruction on how to apply safeties etc. and was ignored. Totally unacceptable. The course needs to ensure that each person can handle a gun and actually show people what to do. Instead, they have a very academic approach and odd authoritarian attitude. Spend some money and go elsewhere. I passed, but in my opinion this course does not focus enough on safe handling.
