Great place to do some actual camping! No power or water hook ups and no on site showers but it was quiet and off the beaten path. Only reason I gave it 4/5 was their pit toilets were a lot to be desired. The lake is gorgeous and all the Parks staff was awesome as well.

Great location for "rustic" camping. Kids love the lake, even if it is sometimes too cold for us grown-ups. Small swimming area can be crowded on weekends. Great hiking & fishing. Pit toilets only & no potable water on site. Camping spots are large and most are quite private.

Nice hiking path. Clear water. Cool atmosphere. It is very calming to be here. 30 minute hike around the lake. You can relax by the shore, go fishing or go canoeing/kayaking on the lake.

Very nice place to go for the day! The camping rates are a little high but could be worse. I wish there wasn't 4 miles of gravel to drive on to get there though. The road is not the best-bumpy and full of washboard
