My husband and I visited Fort McMurray in August. Fort McMurray Tourism, and in particular, Kristin, made our stay phenomenal. She had helpful information about accommodation and things to do and was proactive and responsive in her communications. She provided us with lots of written information about Fort McMurray, too. Thanks to Kristin and Fort McMurray Tourism, we visited the interesting, informative Oil Sands Discovery Centre, took a breathtaking City Adventure flight with McMurray Aviation and had an amazing place to stay at Chez Dube. We ate delicious meals at Asti Trattoria (Italian), Chez Max (Jamaican) and Mitchell's Cafe (sandwiches). We really enjoyed walking the Aboriginal Interpretive trail around McDonald Island, and strolling along the Snye and Clearwater Rivers. We had a fantastic time and look forward to visiting again, as there is plenty more that we didn't have the time to do!
