Most expensive wedding venue in town. If bragging rights is what you want, this is your place, but they don't even include everything most venues do and charge if you leave a hair on the floor. VERY INCLUSIVE MUSEUM; TRULY ONE OF A KIND! It would be hard to find such a unique piece of history anywhere else, hence it's significance! Medals is definitely worth an hour of any travellers time.

This was worth staying overnight for. Informational displays that give visitors an appreciation for how natural resources in this area contributed to entrepreneurial and industrial success for Medicine Hat. Self-guided tour. Also enjoyed seeing displays of regional artists in a gallery designed for this.

Well worth the visit! Very interesting historical site with a working arts center, too. I didn't know there was so much to know about clay pottery!

We were there during the MH Stampede and were surprised that the attached art gallery was closed. However, this museum is very cool and we are glad we went. There's so much more they could be doing in terms of interpreters and the gift shop. The pottery in the gift shop is very expensive: $40 for a coffee mug! I realise they have to try and make their money during a short season but that's a bit steep. I wanted to buy some dishes - that's really why we went- but walked away empty handed.
