Took my boat in to be serviced and get it ready for a vacation trip to Shuswap. I had already had it on the water a couple times to see if there was any issues and it was good but I wanted to do some preventative maintenance before taking it to BC for 2 weeks. The boat had been there before without issue when my father owned the boat. I informed them I was the new owner and to call me for any issues they may find and I will approve the repairs or not. They called my father instead and told him it was $230 so he just approved it and told me, no problem pretty minor cost. Went to pick it up and they wanted over $2000. They said there was a bunch of stuff that needed to be fixed (even though it ran fine) after some back and forth about not approving the repairs and not even calling me they dropped the price slightly but not enough. Then I get the boat in the water and the speedometer doesnt work, the fuel gauge no longer works, the bilge pump doesnt work, the live wells wont fill, and the fish finder wont turn on. Told them about it and they just laughed it off and said it worked when I picked it up which is a lie. I had to spend thousands more getting it repaired properly. NEVER take anything to this place.

If you want amazing service and super people to deal with, look no further than Ecko Marine. Steven Eckert and staff did everything to ensure my experience at Ecko was 5 star while purchasing my new Skidoo. Keep up the great work and see you all soon!

Contacted through website and through Kijiji...No response. This is the age of the internet! If you can’t simply respond with a yes or no that you have a unit in stock then I will happily shop somewhere else!

The staff is really friendly, from Steve up front who made purchasing my outlander 1000 a breeze to the service and parts staff that are always great to deal with. I have multiple Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo and Can-Am recreational products and I have always been happy with the selection of parts and accessories in stock. They have a good selection of machines in stock and the pricing was very competitive to other dealers I shopped. I like the convenience of having a dealer in our small town. I have had a few small issues with service but I think a small town dealer has trouble getting multiple experienced techs and service seems to be really busy in the shoulder seasons. But I was satisfied with the work done in most cases except for once. I think perfection can be hard to achieve...
