I have been sailing our own boat for about 5 years without much in the way of professional training. The information and skills I have come away with after the five day Intermediate Cruise and Learn course are invaluable. I just didn't know what I didn't know, until now. Students are immersed in a 12 hour per day learning environment, the instructor was super knowledgeable, was able to answer all our questions and had a teaching style that worked. The boat itself (s/v Salient) was a top-notch vessel in fantastic condition. It was a great overall experience. I highly recommend the course, and Simply Sailing, and look forward to expanding my knowledge with them in the future!

Recently went on the 5 day live aboard and had a great time! Learned far, far more than I ever thought possible including anchoring, docking, charts, collision regs, safety, and more. Look forward to more courses in the future. Special thanks to our instructor Marne for all her patience with a fresh, “green” crew, and be warned people: if she offers you a cookie it’s just to get you’re guard down before starting a man overboard drill!! Regards, Vince

Excellent experience. Marla managed to evaluate us for the ICC certification and impart information at the same time. Very professional. Very high recommendation.

I just successfully finished Intermidiate course with the school. Professionally managed from the moment I stepped in to the boat. I want to thank Marla for the great week. The experience and skills set, you passing on to your students, are priceless. With so much patience you brought my sailing to a different level. Would love to learn more from you. Thank you again and again. Vlad Kelowna, BC
