Well done nature center with a variety of hikes available. We unwisely selected the Marsh Trail for a late morning hike in July and found it to be (predictably) warm with very little shade, so plan accordingly. Overall a lovely wetlands nature preservation of native plants and host to ample wildlife.

Looked interesting but ultimately the mosquitoes drove us out after an hour. I was told that it has been an unusual year because of a longer than usual spring runoff. I hope to return another year to check out all the pathways.

Some of the trails were flooded and therefore inaccessible but we enjoyed seeing various birds as we went. It was the May long weekend and it was a lovely day for an unhurried, uncrowded stroll.

It is a beautiful place, but the day we went it was extremely hot there were tons of mosquitos, we were not able to enjoy our hike!
