Terrible place! We had tried to make reservations but they were full so we anchored out in the Harbour. When we dingied to their docks we were met by a hostile man who demanded 5.00 immediately. I was shocked by this behaviour. We have been sailing in the Gulf Islands and San Juan’s for 20 plus years and NEVER experienced such rudeness. We have a disabled dog and need to go ashore several times a day, this man (owner?) told us we would have to pay 5.00 every time! How’s that for customer service? Our Hunter Rendezvous is here every year, but we won’t be back. Go to the other marina, Thetis Island Marina. They love doing business with people.

We have been visiting this marina for over 15 years! We love it! Tara and Ron take such good care of it and the grounds. We started out coming with our kids and a group of boats. The kids always had so much fun. Now our kids are grown up, so it’s just us. We love how the flower boxes are always filled with colourful petunias and the hanging baskets on the posts on the docks look so pretty. That welcoming touch detail tells you that they care about the details. Ron is always there to catch us as we arrive and often helps to see us off. It’s been a while since we’ve played shuffleboard or tetherball, but it’s all still there. Even the horseshoes and ping pong and swings. Love these old fashioned ways of having fun. There’s a barbecue on shore to use, there’s laundry facilities, nice clean bathrooms and showers, a pavilion to use with your group, and the lovely store and cafe. There’s something about eating an ice cream cone on a hot day... perfect! You can get yummy pies, and have a coffee at the old fashioned soda fountain counter. We like to sit in the shade of the hydrangeas and relax while the screen door bangs open and closed. Just down the road a hundred meters or so is Howling Wolf Farm Market, where you can get fresh locally grown greens, veggies, fruit, baking (the brownies sell out early!), and Island raises meats. We had yummy prawns one night and salmon burgers another night. It’s an honour system, so bring cash to put in the box, because there usually isn’t anyone there! Sometimes Solar Bud is there, making his cool (hot?) solar art with beautiful wood pieces and a magnifying glass. There’s so much more to say!! I guess you just have to go and find out for yourself... Enjoy!

The facilities have been well maintained and improved. Friendly and accommodating owners and staff. Definitely one of our all time favorite boating destinations.

I want NO stars but can"t post without one. most rude staff, money hungry unpleasant experience ever. Have been coming here for years but this visit was just awful. We will never come here again! Not even for gas. Not a welcoming place it used to be. We have been boating the Gulf Islands for over 25 yrs ( my husband over 40 yrs) and never have we been so rudely treated. More concerned about the $5 dingy charge then the 6 adults coming to the store to buy ice cream each and other stuff from the store. Already had purchased $50 gas in the jerry can. Not good enough for them!! Treated us like we were scum. Unbelievable!

After coming to this marina for years, I will never step foot on their lovely grounds again. When first arrived on the dock with my 30 foot boat I was greeted by the owner Ron. I said hello and asked how he was doing. He replied not well as there was not enough boats coming to the marina and how he needs to ensure no dinghys come and dock as they are creating large line ups for ice cream in his cafe. I really thought this was odd for a couple reasons. Meeting the owner right off the bat which made it feel like I was staying at his place rather than Telegraph Marina. As a customer I dont want to listen to an owner talking about his pitty party about slow business. Complaining about too long of line ups for ice cream is a head scratcher. This place is over managed to the point of making guest feeling very awkward as Ron walks around with his arms crossed being as rude as can be to everyone. I hope Ron and Tara read these reviews and ease up on their rude money hungry attitude. I hope less and less boats come and a proper business owner can take over and turn this marina into one I loved going to before Ron and Tara.
