Atlantis MARINE in Kelowna is an absolutely horrible business, myself & my wife recommend you STAY AWAY from this business! Mark & Mike both play the back forth game, eventually hoping you give up My opinion, they are both 100% shysters Todd Richard

Mr

“Can NOT recommend doing business with this company. Mark over -promises and under-delivers at an amazing rate. If any promise is actually delivered, it is at Mark’s convenience, not the customer. Mostly he will ignore your requests and if he actually responds, it will be some weak excuse for not delivering on his promise but then does nothing to remedy the situation. We took possession of our new boat at the end of May 2022. It is now mid September and we are still waiting for Mark to arrange completion of pre delivery service and adjustments. Like many others rating this business, my recommendation is to avoid Atlantis

Despicable and sickening behaviour and conduct

This company has gotten so many terrible reviews that it shut down it’s entire Facebook page and restarted it. This business had a Google review of 1.5 out of five stars with over 70 reviews…. SCAMMERS I have directly and personally watched Mark McNicol take items out of customers boats and told staff to put them in his own boat for his personal use. I have watched Marke scream and yell at young staff members for minor mistakes. I have watched their mechanic department damage customers boats without saying anything to the customer. This business is well-known in town for having extremely low morals, don’t believe me, just ask around… During my short time working with Mark I have seen nothing but disgusting and despicable behaviour. This company still owes me money for when their “mechanic” decided to throw a number of my tools on the ground when he had a temper tantrum. Avoid this place like the plague and stay away from Mark McNicol if you have any desire to have your equipment

I bought a mercury 9.9 4 stroke outboard from Atlantis in the summer of 2018. Martin was helpful, gave lots of information and was not the least bit pushy. Very much appreciated in a salesperson. I did have some problems keeping the motor going. Something was not quite right. John, the mechanic was fast, thorough and found the carburetor needed an adjustment. He dealt with the issue and the motor works perfectly. Very satisfied with the sales, service and looking forward to getting out on the water again. Thank you...

Bought a Pontoon boat from Mark at Atlantis his knowledge of boats was over the top of anyone else we talked to in the Okanagan Valley. Mark was professional had a great sense of humor and was a pleasure to deal with! The detailing crew is next to none. Thank you Atlantis.

Bought a new Sylvan pontoon boat in June, there have been several issues including no Manuals for anything on the boat and a speedometer that has not ever worked. A date was arranged in July for a mechanic to come with the manuals and to fix the speedometer and several other issues, no one showed up and we didn’t receive a phone call or text to say why, we waited all day and phoned and texted for the next week, no calls were returned and as of today we haven’t heard from anyone at Atlantis, this is the worst customer service we have ever experienced. Basically once you leave the dealership you are on your own.

We purchased a pontoon boat last year from Mark/Matin with having a small background in boating. Mark went above and beyond looking after all our needs helping with everything from delivery, to spending time on the water helping us get orientated. They look after servicing and storing the boat in the winter including pickup and delivery service.

It had been about 25 years since I owned a boat, so when I decided to buy one I went shopping at all of the dealers. I met with Martin & he was just excellent showing me the features on their pontoon boats, he was not the least bit high pressure & suggested that I continue to look around. About a week later my wife & I went back & Martin suggested we deal with his Sales Manager (Mark) again he was not pushy & even advised that if we wanted we could put down a fully refundable $1,000 deposit to secure the boat that we were interested in, since the boat show was coming up we felt there might be some deals available there but did not want to loose the model we had chosen at Atlantis so we decided to put a deposit down. After the show we went ahead with the purchase & the service got even better. I do not have a vehicle to pull the boat with so Mark offered to deliver the boat to my slip, then he showed me the proper way to secure it. While securing it he remembered he forgot my bumpers at his office so he ran back & then delivered them to my slip - he is just amazing. After a few trips on my boat I felt that it was not running quite right so Mark sent a mechanic (John) out & we went for a ride, remember I had not driven a boat in 25 years & apparently I was not using the electric trim correctly - John did not make me feel the least bit stupid. All is great now & I am enjoying being on the water after a long awaited 25 years. I give this dealership full marks & would recommend them to anyone looking to make a purchase. Cheryl & Daryl B.
