A favorite place to walk, hike and take the dog! We love that there's an off-leash dog area complete with beach and green space. My dog absolutely loves swimming here. The water is fresh and clean. Run by BC Hydro, the park is well maintained. Seems like a great place to come picnic! Loved the part of the Reservoir trail I did, complete with waterfall action. Also have done some of the Railway trail which is easier than the Reservoir one!

Loads of Sandy beaches, an off leash beach. Lots of parking however can be a bit of a hike. The close lot fills early on nice days. There's bathrooms and places to wash your feet. A great family day spot for sure

Gorgeous location. We love to spend a day here with our dog. Feels like a vacation and not like you are even in Vancouver

Really beautiful place, water is pretty damn cold! But still a super nice place to spend the day with family and friends!

This has always been one of our go-to family lakes for many years but it's starting to have issues with overcrowding. It's annoying to show up early and still be forced to unload at the overflow parking, even though we'd asked nicely if we could gain temporary access to the main parking to unload since we have a young child. The care-takers/park rangers were a little rude when they brushed us off but at least the walk from the overflow parking was only 150 metres, or so, from the main lake. Still a great spot for picnic/bbq with the family if you can find a spot.
