Never a bad day when you're in Cabela's. All the staff are friendly and helpful. But you have to be a smart shopper. Last time I was in there about two weeks ago they didn't have any 35 Remington Ammo. So I tried Bass Pro, an affiliate company now. They didn't have any either but I was able to order some for $39.99 for a box of 20. Today I saw some in Cabela's but there was no price on the shelf. So I asked for a price check. It cost $49.99 for the exact same ammo I have on order.

Bought a Savage 110 BA 300 win and had them bore sight it. They scared up and beveled the edges of the muzzle break trying to get it off to sight it. Then they used a jiffy marker to try and hide the scaring on my brand new gun. Then they said they would pay for a new break if I could find one and I couldn’t. Finally weeks later they traded it in and said they would give me a gift certificate to compensate me for driving around trying to find a replacement break. I have called multiple times to get that gift certificate and no one has returned my call. Will never shop there again. Thanks Guys, I hope you see this review!

I used to go here to get information and gear for fishing. However the last few times I went I was looking for someone to spool a line and to help with some information.. No one was around. I asked someone finally to do it and he said he couldn't because he was the only one working and couldn't spend the time to help me...... whaaat? That doesn't make any sense. Now I go to other stores that help me right away and have much better prices! Save the time, this place is not worth the trip! Unless you want to see a pretty building...

I bought an Intex Mariner 4 at full price a week and a bit later it went on sale for $125 off. Returned to the store with my receipt and got a completely hassle free partial refund for the sale price. This was despite a hiccup with my credit card that wasn't even on their end. I'll admit their standard prices seem pretty standard, no great deals except sales. However Lori in customer service basically gave me the best experience I have ever had getting a price match. It was completely hassle free and I will absolutely be back because of that.

Lots of selection and the guy in fishing helped out lots. Only bad is I bought an electric motor which I used on a fishing trip. I asked the cashier if I could return if it wasn’t big enough. She said yes. Well guess what, not true. I didn’t want to return but exchange for a bigger one. Asked the manager on duty if there was anything we could do. Nope. My fault for not reading the fine print. Anyone want to buy an electric motor used for 2 hours? Works greet lol
