I am not really a big boat enthusiast but decided to check it out when they had an open house on Victoria day long weekend. I was pleasantly surprised to see a fabulous art show at the back of the museum (see attached pics) so it was well worth the visit for me. It is very small but it would take quite awhile to read and listen to everything they had on display there.

Nice place to visit. They used to be much larger but since they moved to a smaller building the exhibit area became a lot smaller. Still a good stop while in Victoria.

Small, but I enjoyed what they had. I would love to see it expanded.

Once a highlight for our island trips we had not been to this museum since they had moved and were surprised and saddened by how much of the artifacts were not on display. The new location is apparently temporary and is still worth a visit even if it pales in comparison to what was once there.

Small and intimate but very interesting particularly the exibit about "the terror" as the movie based on the story has just come out
