Was fun to look around. At the time I went they have a Egyptian exhibition. Surprising the amount of stuff from movies that were real but also how things are quite a bit different. For example some of the burial device were made out of simple wood so looked quite a bit different to the pure stone you would expect. Other areas that are quite good to look through is a look at the native people from the BC area and their history, they have a language exhibit where you can get recordings from the many different local dialects and see the local maps. It's surprising how different the languages are for such a small area geographically. Worth going if you got some spare time.

This place is huge. My partner and I came here because we saw advertisements for the Egypt exhibit. There are some really interesting displays in the Egypt exhibit (kudos to the designer), and it's absolutely massive. The museum also has a natural history wing and a Canadian history wing. Both are gigantic. Depending on how quickly you go through museums, you could easily spend a full day in here. I was so impressed by the BC Museum. I'd definitely recommend it if you're a fan of museums.

Excellent way to spend the afternoon! Truthfully it was am all day experience. Large self guided tour that has some great exhibits. Great for the family and adults to learn about Canada. I would highly recommend it. Staff and curators are eager to answer questions and help. Thank you had a great day

Great museum. A little pricey to get into but overall worth it. At the time that we went they had the Egypt exhibit open and that was very cool and well put together. Outside of that the other attractions are very cool, they do a great job of making "scenes" whether its their nature scene in the natural history portion or the mini town they made. Overall a positive experience and glad we came.

Of course loved it. Went for the newest Egypt exhibit. Showed some unique items I was impressed with. Also love the look back at Canadian history and life. It looks like a little town. Heard they will be updating it soon. Can't wait to come back to see that.
