Quiet beach with not many people, but water is very dirty and full of pebbles, and bugs, washrooms are dirty. The sand part of the beach seems like it does get raked which removes the rocks from the drier sand. Washrooms are fairly dirty but do have running water, mirrors, toilets and sinks. If you camp overnight you can pay a $10 deposit for a key to the other shared washrooms which have showers and are kept cleaner than the public washrooms. You do need to pay a toll to park if you don't have a provincial park pass. The beach has a board walk but doesn't really have a restaurant to buy food from.

This a great family beach. Water is warm. Nice treed shelter. Places to walk and bike. However, the lake had a lot if algae. This made the air smell a bit too. A lot of Manitoba water bodies seem to have algae in late August, so I guess that is to be expected.
