Easy walk from the Fort Garry hotel but no signs to direct you. We asked the river boat tour agent what we would see on the tour. His response was that we would have the best Captain available. We didn't take it. A majority of stores were closed at 4pm. We were hoping to take the trolley tour. There was a sign advertising it but no information about it. On the easel was website info but we didn't have a Canada plan on our cells. It would have been helpful if the times and days were posted for the tour. As it turned out the Trolley wasn't even running for another week. We did find a wonderful place for beer and wine flights inside one of the buildings. There was a great variety of open stores there and the employees were very helpful and friendly. Also, there were many food court style options as well as outside seating.

Always a fun time at the Forks of Winnipeg. And the new Human rights museum is an amazing new landmark and must-see attraction to any trip to Winnipeg. The 1/2hr river boat tour was also excellent and informative and good value for the money! Great artistic and foodie atmosphere abounds and it the forks!

This is a very unique place. Its right on shores of the River with river side walkways. There are very unique items in their many small shops. It also has a large courtyard with many neat restaurants and also a lovely sit down Restaurant. If you travel to Winnipeg it is a must see.

The forks is a delightful place and a must-see for anyone visiting Winnipeg. The Red and Assiniboine Rivers meet here, and it's a spot full of historical significance. Check out the Museum of Human Rights, shop, eat good food, and chill along the river. I could easily spend days here. The only issue I found is how early things close--by 9 on a weekday in the summer, restaurants were shutting down and I was pretty surprised. Go earlier than we did and you'll be all set👍

A great place to hang out with friends or just to grab a quick bite to eat. Over the course of a week's vacation, we stopped in several times to the Forks for bike rentals, tourist information, entertainment, transportation, and of course, food. There are so many things to do and places to explore. This was the perfect home base for my active kids while vacationing.
