This a great place to shop and wander arounnd. Built in the old Crystal Palace game center. The glass ceiling along with the support beams done up like trees is great. A wide selection of clothing for men, women and children. Lots of hunting, fishing and camping supplies. A great place to spend your time.

Tried to buy a rod/reel combo but couldn't find it on the floor. I waited at the fishing counter with the flyer for 10 minutes but neither associate behind the counter gave me a second look or tried to help. Or even acknologed me. 1 was propping up the cash register listening to a conversation that another associate was having. I'm one of 1000's in a day but my experience was not great today.

The store is always clean, aisles are always clear, price tags are always visible (which I appreciate, nothing worse then having to run around trying to get a price on something). The location being the former Crystal Palace makes for a breathtaking store with it's glass diamond roof. Definitely my favorite stop for outdoor gear and clothing in the area

Awesome you can spend hours and hours here our kids loved it did you know that The majority owner, John Morris, began his career in sporting goods with a fishing section in the back of a Brown Derby liquor store owned by his father, located in Springfield MO on the road to Table Rock Lake and Branson, Missouri. That small fishing department sold homemade bait and worms, proving popular enough that Bass Pro Shops was incorporated in 1971. These homemade baits were so popular that many people wanted the opportunity to buy these when they had returned home. Thus began the Bass Pro Shops catalog, first mailed in 1974. Soon, it became the world's largest mail order sporting goods store.

A beautiful store, housed in a former indoor amusement park. I must say that I preferred the Cabela's better, but since this is the only one left now I can't complain about store design. A great selection of items, somewhat similar to what Cabela's had but a bit pricier in my opinion.
