It was fun and nice view of the mountain. Costs 50 per head for 20 minutes. They provide good life jackets and said not to break the rules like we should not touch the water and should not go beyond the boundaries marked by red flags.. They keep on monitoring us.. Which is a good thing for our safety. Worth it. Good experience. The one proper thing to enjoy in yelagiri hills.

Yelagiri is not a crowded place. Less traffic. Two options to pass time. One is Boat House. Another is forest. Crowd gathers around boat house. Nothing interesting in forest. But somewhat Medium climate. Though sun shines, we do not perspire. Fruits are cheaper. One or two days you can stay.

Small lake with paddle and row boats available. One round of lake in row boat - 15 - 30 mins costs 50 rs per person. It also has small children park where small kids can enjoy. Few eateries are inside only serving ice cream, corn, fast food - veg/non veg. Shops outside sell regular tourist items. 1_ evening can be spend here.
