Fibre glass boat repairs, trailer fixes and more recently motor fixes. Super service. Couldn't be more pleased. Certainly know their business.

I brought my boat in to the shop to be looked at, because it had died in the middle of the lake. I had the whole family with me, so i wanted to be sure the next time we went out that I wouldn't have a repeat. When i went in and I explained the problem I also asked that the cooling impeller be changed because i was concerned that not enough water was being jetted out of my outboard motor. So they took it out for what i was told some long test drives, and did very little actual work on the boat (changed a fuel line, and charged the battery). I am handed a fairly substantial bill, I got a whole lot reassurances that it was fine and it checked out. The impeller never got changed like i asked! It got missed on the work order (some excuse was given but I was mad I didn't pay it much mind to the excuses). I was content though, knowing it would be safe on the water. HA, the next trip out, doesn't it die again. Was it even tested as well as it should of been? Did they actually spend as much time on the lake running it through it's paces? I don't know. All i know for sure, is that i spend a lot of money and i still have a problem.

We bought a new (to us) boat/motor and brought it to Brentwood to get some maintenance done after having some issues on our first trip out. The motor overheated...? They had the boat for over 2 weeks because they were busy with regulars needing service prior to the long weekend. Some very minor issues were eventually found and fixed. A bulb and lines changed for over $500.00. More money was spent on labour costs than actual parts. My husband asked them if they had checked a few different things to which they responded that they did not need replacing/maintenance. They told my husband that the motor had a “lot of hours on it but was running great”. He stressed that he was worried because we had young children and wanted to be safe on the water. He asked them to take it out for another test drive (extra cost) to be sure that they had found all the issues. He was positive it was an impeller issue and had brought the topic up a few times. Next trip out, ttwo weeks after repairs, the motor was dead after 20 minutes of use and we relied on the kindness of strangers to tow us to shore. Second opinion: Found that we had a blown impeller and cylinder and other big cost items. It was suggested to get a new motor! Wow!!! These guys either don’t know squat or know too much about how to take advantage of those who rely on them to keep their families safe. I am completely disgusted with how they treated our family. They wasted precious time that we could have used to return the boat or got some compensation.
