The yaht club is closed to the general public, however those who use it speak highly of the community bonds it creates.. the unfortunate thing is that its hard to keep the place clean especially with the old grain elavators... If you are a tourist, avoid the yaht club and go on the other side of the terminals to the pier where you can swim, however be respectful and cautious of boat traffic so stay close to the pier. Great place for families to hang out in the summer, not a fun place in winter though..
