I was a previous customer of George’s and ive had both good and mediocre experiences with their service dept. over the years. Expensive, slow and sometimes left with the felling that i wasn’t really a priority. This said, for the most part, the sales people were always approachable friendly and relatively knowledgeable so i decided to go back to purchase a waverunner just a few weeks ago. Deposit on a Wednesday and expectations of delivery for Friday. Then, in part due to me, pushed to Saturday. On Saturday i had a phone call to explain that person from Eaganville who handles licensing wasn’t able to complete the registration. So we would have to wait until Monday. Monday came and we made arrangement to meet on Carp rd. For 4:30pm. I arrived and my salesperson was attending to a water test and he returned to the shop just about 4:45 pm and he continued to assist his customer leaving me in the parking lot waiting for a good 45 minutes. Not so bad until they wanted to lock the gates to close up for the night and politely asked me to move my car. Of course as luck would have it, the sales guy was taking a few days off after that so i would have to wait until the following weekend, While i was a little aggravated, i got over it and moved on knowing that it would all come together. In fairness to the sales guy, he did reach out by phone and text the following week to make arrangements. On Saturday, i made another attempt to pick up the waverunner. It wasnt easy though, The first guy sent me to service, the service guy sent back to sales, the sales guy explained he knew nothing about this delivery and was a little put off that the service guy asked him to help. That sales guy was simply reude! Then, after a few minutes my sales guy shows up with the paper work but imforms me that the decals aren’t installed yet but it wont take long. I hand him my visa and agree to wait for someone to install the decals. He informs me that they don’t take visa without chargnig a 4% fee. Now I’m good with a 1.5-2% fee because i understand there is a cost, but not 4%...thats just greed. Else, the delay noted above related to me was because i reqeusted that the wave runner be put in my wife’s name. It was then we noted that the waverunner was incorrecley registered. I was furious. I left the store and requested my deposit be returned. I contacted a competitor in the city and they offered to deliver me a waverunner on a trailer ready to go in one business day. That was to easy!

Terrible service. I used to tolerate it when it was George's since they were so close, but now that it's part of Pride marine, I can't stand it. Currently driving over 40 minutes to Orleans for service and parts instead of the 10 minutes to Pride. Don't waste your time dealing with this shop!

This place has terrible service and they cannot properly do any type of boat maintenance. I brought my boat in there twice and it WAS A BIG MISTAKE. I received better service in all areas from Aim Marine. DO NOT GO HERE

Being a customer at George's Marine And Sport is more than just doing business . From the moment you walk in and are welcomed by friendly staff you are made to feel very important . Always willing to go that extra step to ensure you leave happy, and return happy. Its service like this that makes a company really stand out. Ten years and counting being a repeat customer to George's, I will never go anywhere else, as I know when I go in those doors all my need will be met. I highly recommend George's to anyone.

The parts department has gone above and beyond to help me with a few items and systems that I have wanted to get up and going on my boat. They have stellar service and support. On top of that, the prices are very competitive with online vendors and most parts are 24-48 hours if you need to order them. I full recommend these guys.
