Our family enjoyed our stay at the cottage (July 2019). Lots of perks from the great view of the lake, AC, kayaks and to the closeness of the conservation area where we did lots of biking and fishing. The private ramp and dock is also an added bonus. Jack (the owner) is commendable for returning my son's wagon mattress back to us. We'll definitely go back this year.

One of wonderful holidays spent here. Get everything we need --- close to the city and it is a nice get-away from busy-ness :) The lake in the morning is astonishing. The bass tastes sweet.

My daughter was tasked with finding our family a cottage this summer and she made an excellent choice. Island Cottage had everything we needed for a great vacation. Loved the open concept of the cottage and the views. The Bay and the rest of the cottage was beautiful and even the front was amazing (had deer visit in the morning on three different days). The cottage was fully equipped (Awesome full size kitchen and entertainment center) with everything anyone could possibly need and we survived easily even with a couple days of rain and a power outage. The only things that I would mention for improvement would be the dock/deck - both do need a little TLC (few uneven or rotting boards). Many thanks to Jack and family for allowing us to rent their property. Hope to be back next year.

We just returned from a fabulous vacation at Islands Cottage! We've been renting Cottages for years, and this was absolutely one of our favourite! The Cottage itself had modern upgrades with hardwood & ceramic flooring throughout, huge picture window in Kitchen overlooking the water, spacious, comfortable bedrooms and lovely livingroom with sliding-door to the large deck. We felt so at home and loved the open layout. The outside grounds were spectacular; lots of grassland to enjoy playing sports and the dock with boats. It's a peaceful, tranquil setting in Lavergne Bay and the fishing was also great! The owner was very courteous and friendly and great to interact with. We would highly recommend Islands Cottage!

Our family had a great time (aug 2019) and everyone loved the kayaks! Would return for sure. Only down side is lots and lots of mosquitoes!
