I go camping every year and I must say these are more spacious campsites compared to what I've seen before. The park is gorgeous, but the beaches are a let down - quite small, no depth, and murky. Nevertheless, the water is so calming (if you're able to handle mosquitos). Keep in mind also that hwy 11 is the only way north to access it from Toronto region and its absolutely packed and crawling on long weekends. Definitely would recommend for the strong willed

Nice campground. Large semi secluded sites with lots of trees. The water is clean and clear with some power boats. Many shallow spots with boulders defiantly not up to Algonquin standardd

Restoule is a fantastic provincial park with lots of outdoor activities. There are 3 great beaches on lake Restoule that you can choose from at the park. There is an awesome short hike up to the old fire tower that overlook the bluffs at stormy lake. There is a boat launch at both stormy and Restoule that you have access to with park admission. Camp sites on bells point (the electrical sites)are super tight together and very "metropolitan" in layout. Outta point has a great comfort station and although the sites are not electrical they are overall nicer than bells point and a little.more private. There is no longer a Marina that sells gas on Restoule so be prepared with extra tanks of fuel or be willing to load your tank into your car when you.need to refill. The closest gas is Gerry general store which is about a 5 minute walk from the government dock or a 10 minute drive from.the park. Firewood and ice are available for sale at the park store bit if you need you get food or supplies you need to drive offsite for that.

Great park and would definitely recommend to everyone who enjoys Camping. It had the standard Ontario Provincial Park amenities (showers, restrooms, canoes, kayaks, etc). Multiple beach spots so you can mix it up, nice large lake where you can bring your own boat and beautiful greenery!

Provincial Park should not assign day use areas for group camping... The staff asked us to inform any day use guests to leave as they had assigned us the day use area to our group for camping. This was not practical and we were not comfortable to ask other to leave when they came to the area to fish or use the public bench. Shower and flush washroom are very far from group campsites. Big hassle when you have kids and a large group. The most disappointing thing from them all is the fact that they sell you a electric site yet the closeby out house washrooms have no lights. At most you would expect one light in the common area if not inside every washrooms. I strongly feel that due to very high demands provincial parks management does not really care on implementing basic necessities or improvements. They assign you anything and everything and the summer students working at front desk are very friendly and but lack the complete information or fine details that guests should be aware off. Rentals policies are not made clear and if one is not careful you end up paying heavy late fees.
